Visual Progress
February 10, 2007 – 5:18 pmSo I had a couple of requests to show a screenshot of what current Amarok svn looks like. I’m warning you, it isn’t pretty! You can see the layouts are a little messed up, and the toolbars align themselves like caffeinated butterflies.
If you look in the system tray, you will see that I am running two instances of the application. The icon with the poor rendering is the 2.0 version, running as my kde4 user. That sweet applet in my tray shows my current track info - get kirocker now!

Well, i know that AmaroK 2 will re-designed, but the Konqueror Sidebar is not working very good with newer version of AmaroK, maybe making Context-Menu (or what we will have as context-menu in Amarok 2) available as a Kpart is a good Idea

Does that screenshot really say Magnatune on the sidebar?

Yes - we added a Magnatune browser in 1.4.5
