Dahab: It’s Eurogyptian!

The last 5 days spent on the Red Sea coast have been wonderful. I’ve been living it up, relaxing by sleeping most of the day in Bedouin style camps on the beach, eating wonderful food which isn’t necessarily falafel nor shwarma. The pizza is great, the kebabs are better and the breakfasts are the best! Having said that, we’ve been eating at the pull-it-apart-with-your-fingers charcoal chicken place every night. It’s a bargain!

Visited the Blue Hole for some snorkelling, spent new years sleeping and today visiting St. Catherine’s monastery and climbing a bone chillingly cold Mt. Sinai.

Tomorrow: off to Taba and to Aqaba via Eilat, on our way to Petra, which was apparently snowed in last week. Yikes!
